Hitman: Absolution - Elite Edition App Reviews

Unlike others, I had no problem with this game. I’m running Yosemite and was able to complete all of the levels without a problem. It’s a well-made game

First, the installment. As for the ratings above, it does install fine and works of January 4. At first though, it stopped installing, so I deleted it and was going to reinstall it. But, I got a message that I didn’t have enough storage. So I got an application called DaisyDisk and saw that Hitman Absolution was taking up data even though I deleted it. I was going to clear that storage by going in finder, but the folder it was in wasn’t allowing me to open it. I gave myself permission to it, and for some reason, the folder that was inside that folder with hitman got deleted. I went back to the App Store and it said open, and from then on out, it worked. Second, the gameplay is awesome, the campaign is great, and the graphics are pretty good. I hope this helped, because of this moment, this game is getting a bunch of problems installing

After playing this game for a while I have not been able to put it down, it has amazing graphics, amazing story, creative kills, and so much more, I highly recomend this game to anyone who is looking for a game they can play non stop and never get bored!!

I have a 13 inch macbook pro with HD4000 graphics. The game takes a very long time to load however it runs very smoothly on low graphics setting. I have my macbook connected to my 65 inch tv and the game looks good on the tv - it looks much better than what I was expecting. I am particularly happy that the game works very well with the Logitech Wireless Gamepad (F710) which I also own. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

My favorite game of all time was the first Metal Gear solid, i loved how difficult and tactical it was..If you’re like me then you’re going to LOVE this game! the only thing is that it’s a very short game..I beat the game on normal mode in less than maybe 20 hours of game play..It’s still fun playing it the second time around though because there are more than 1 way to do things/get things done on missions (im currently on my 3rd playthrough lol)

It Works well on my MacBook Air 2014 even though I Thought it won’t run at all, but it runs smoothly with no bugs at all. Thank you Feral Interactive and IO Interactive for working hard on this Great and one of the most important Games Franchises of All Time.

I loved Absolution, but Sniper Challenge crashes IMMEDIATELY. I have a late 2012 iMac with a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 and 32 gigs of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB graphics card running latest Yosemite — it aint the computer set up… This needs to be fixed, I feel like I got a bum deal.

it took hours to “ download” which it later said it failed to do. Now it won’t install. waste of $25.00. refund?

I was looking forward to playing this as I love the Hitman games. However even on a 35/15 Fios connection the file took 9 hours to download and was corrupted. Tried for a full 24 hours to download repeatedly. I checked with ISP, checked all possible router settings (New 802.11ac Router / New Macbook Pro Retina). Waste of time and energy. I have requested a refund. Too bad the game looks awesome.

this is a great game. i installed it on my 2011 macbook fine, and completed it without a single problem. the $20 dollars was worth the entertainment!

I love the game and walkthrough it in 10 days. It’s a very classic assassin game, not a shooting game. I don’t have install issue like many reported. But I had long loading twince. The second time it wouldn’t quit the loop, so I just reinstalled the game. All the progress were still there. Level increasing dosn’t necessarily mean difficulty increasing. I personally find the attack from saints’ is pretty difficult.

The game crashes on launch.

Bought and downloaded this game - will not start past initial setup menu…..freezes and only way to quit is force quit through preferences. Running on MacbookPro with 2.6GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM, 1024MB NVIDIA graphics card….all well above minimums. Clean uninstalled and re-downloaded total of 3 times with the same outcome. I would like a workaround solution or refund immediately. It was my understanding that Apple had all this tested in advance to avoid these issues.

Edit: The one stars all seem to be people who didn’t read the REQUIREMENTS first. Do not buy this game unless your Mac meets requirements. It won’t work unless you match or exceed what it calls for. Period. That being said, here’s why it’s a 5 star app. This is a game for Mac done right. Everything works fluidly. On our Mac Pro, it plays seemlessly with all settings on ultra, on our iMac it does the same. It’s a large download, but it’s an AMAZING value for both your buck, and your bandwidth. The graphics are amazing, the story is brilliant, the online aspects are so much fun (contracts are fun to both create and play!) The extra features are all there and well worth it. As for the game itself, it truly lives up to the Hitman name. It continues the storyline brilliantly, and is extremely well done. Usually I can nitpick at least one or two things about any title, but this one is simply perfect. As it should be, it took them long enough to complete it!

Ok. SO.. I downloaded the game, looked at the trailers and it looked like the most fun thing I had ever seen. BUT, after 4 f***ing hours of loading it didn’t work! I was so excited until it wouldn’t install. It got all the way up to 20.25 GB but would stay on the same install level forever. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP! I’m not saying this was a bad game I’m just saying... someone help me!

so i bought the game and it didnt install the first two times i tried. it finally installed after 6 hours and then i brought me to the thing were you choose your settings and stuff. i restarted my computer twice and it still wont even go to the actuall loading screen. so yea hopefully it will work soon and if does not i wil reinstall it AGAIN. if it still doesnt work I DEMAND A REFUND

The game installed with no issues. The game is fully functional at this point. I would reccomend this game. Ive had no problems with it as of yet.

I think this game would be a lot better without all the profanity and vulgarity! There’s 1 level where you have to go into a strip joint to asassinate someone, I could’ve done without that! This game tries very hard to be as profane and vulgar as possible! Not a game for kids! More of a game for adults! Let the buyer beware!
